WINMOCK AT KINDERTON VENUE TOUR

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting the gorgeous WinMock at Kinderton venue in Winston Salem, North Carolina! This venue was absolutely STUNNING and was totally my personal style. I had the pleasure of touring the space with Laura who was such a joy to be around. Seriously, I’m declaring that we are friends in real life (hope you don’t mind Laura!)

WinMock was named for its central location between Winston Salem and Mocksville. It was originially a tobacco barn that was restored to its former glory to serve the people as a place of gathering, worship and historic charm. There are two venues on site: The main barn and the Granary. The main barn is where majority of their weddings take place whereas the Granary is a smaller venue perfect for intimate gatherings or rehearsal dinners! This venue can best be described as timeless and romantic with a dash of modern! WinMock offers both all-inclusive and a la carte packages!

When you first enter the Main Barn at WinMock, you will be greeted by a wonderful staff that is eager to help direct you to your destination. They have all the perfect amenities for an effortless wedding day including elevators, bridal and groom suites, outdoor terraces for ceremonies or cocktail hours and even private rooms for your guest’s coats and gifts! They truly have thought of everything!

One of my favorite parts of WinMock is that they have a super hands-on approach to planning your wedding. When you decide to have your wedding at WinMock, you are guaranteeing that you have a dedicated staff that wants to be your friend, not just your wedding venue. They also have SO many things on site to make planning super easy such as tables, chairs, dinnerware, flatware, linens and more! WinMock has partnered with Providence Catering to provide you with a seamless experience when it comes to catering as well. They handle all of the legwork for you and all you have to do is show up! How cool is that?!

Let’s talk about the layout of WinMock real quick. As you pull into the driveway, you are taken through a cute neighborhood of buildings that lead you to the Barn. The barn is MASSIVE and statement-making for sure. The white exterior mixed with the red trim speaks volumes to its old-world charm. There is plenty of parking on site. When you enter the main level, you see a hallway that used to be horse stalls that are now converted to gorgeous rooms perfect for storage, gifts, restrooms and the bridal suite is at the end of the hall! WinMock uses partitions to hide this suite from the rest of the venue.

The bridal suite is massive..and absolutely beautiful! With tons of natural light pouring in from the windows, classic furniture and plenty of outlets, your hair and makeup team is sure to make magic in this space! 

The groom’s suite is just as cool. In a totally separate building, there is absolutely no chance of seeing each other before you are supposed to, the guys have a sweet set up complete with a mini fridge, pool table, TV and dark leather furniture. Trust me, that is truly all they could ever want!

When you head upstairs (or the elevator!) to what used to be a hay loft, you might just faint at how breathtaking the main reception space is. Not even kidding. The ceilings are so incredibly tall, and ROUND! The craftsmanship that went into creating this hay loft is impeccable. The originial beams, floors and ceiling structure is mesmerizing and sure to create a dream space for your ceremony, reception or both!

Overall, this is a gorgeous venue for your wedding day, and I highly recommend that you go check it out! I had the pleasure of meeting with Laura who was so knowledgable and fun to be around.
