CADILLAC SERVICE GARAGE VENUE TOUR

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting the gorgeous Cadillac Service Garage in Greensboro, North Carolina! This venue was super cool in about a million ways. The owners of the venue are extreme DIYers that have truly crafted the most unique, thoughtful and (did I mention) gorgeous space for your wedding day or any other reason you have to celebrate! 

This historic building used to serve the streets of Greensboro, NC as an actual service garage for Cadillac lovers, but in 2017, it was reborn as a premier event space for couples and families to enjoy the rich history it has to offer. The venue can best be described as an industrial loft space full of modern and eclectic charm.

The renovations that took place over the course of five years were carefully planned to maintain the historic elegance of the Service Garage. When you walk in the space you are instantly taken back in time with the exposed brick, original black and white floors, factory windows and more. This isn’t your average venue, y’all, the owners of this space are also super handy! They dreamed up and created some amazing touches such as beehive light fixtures, live edge bar tops, fun rolling chairs by the bar and more that are one of a kind pieces you can’t find anywhere else. This space truly is something to be experienced.

So, let’s chat about the layout a bit. Cadillac Service Garage is right in the heart of downtown Greensboro, NC, but guess what? Parking is not going to be an issue, friend. They have their own parking lot right next door, so you don’t even have to rent a trolley. When you enter the building, you are in what used to be the showroom, but is now converted into what most couples use as their cocktail hour space. With two gorgeous bars, a wood burning fireplace and a giant chalkboard perfect for writing your seating chart on, your guests are sure to feel cozy in this space.

Next, you move into the main reception area. This space is HUGE. It can easily house 250-300 guests there. With mega tall ceilings and concrete floors, this spot is sure to amaze any of your guests. Probably my favorite thing about this area, the owners built these crazy long farmhouse industrial tables that have wooden tops and metal legs that are INCLUDED in your rental! That is so unheard of! They have plenty of these tables to seat your guests, unless you start getting closer to the 300 guests range. This space also has plenty of natural light with huge skylights and windows that let the sun shine right in. From the photos, I’m sure you can also see they have a bar that overlooks the main reception space meaning there are THREE bars in this space ready to serve your guests, all with their own unique, classic old-world charm.

Moving outside, Cadillac Service Garage has also recently completed their outdoor terrace. This space is far larger than it looks in photos and can offer such a fun, secret garden style ceremony or cocktail hour spot! You really feel like you’re tucked in the middle of the city here, but no one even knows you’re there!

I know what you’re thinking, okay well with all that space being used up for those things, there probably isn’t any space left for the getting ready suites. WRONG. The bridal suite used to operate as an old paint shop for painting cars, but now it has turned into the most beautiful, totally bridal suite that boasts 1000 square feet! It is seriously one of the largest bridal suites I’ve seen in this area! The white wash brick mixed with the natural light pouring in the windows creates an elegant ambiance that is so calming for the biggest day of your life! A few doors over, the groom’s suite also offers plenty of space and tons of masculinity! With black leather furniture, red curtains and wooden furniture, this room is sure to please the men in your life as they dude it up with their bros.

All in all, this is such a beautiful venue for your wedding day, and I highly recommend that you go check it out! I had the pleasure of meeting with Jena who was such a joy to be around.
