1. Cannon Green
   • As their website says, Cannon Green is “a classic meets cosmopolitan events venue in the heart of the Holy City’s most dynamic neighborhood.” Known for its magical, candlelit courtyard and spiral staircase, Cannon Green is the perfect setting for those seeking to inspire and delight their guests. Cannon Green can hold up to 250 guests and is the perfect blend of history, hospitality, function and charm.
2. Lowndes Grove
   • It would be impossible to create a “Charleston’s Best Wedding Venues List ” without including Lowndes Grove. Arguably the epitome of a Charleston wedding, Lowndes Grove sits on 14 acres of oak tree lined waterfront with a quintessential historic home as your backdrop. Have the waterfront ceremony of your dreams on the Great Lawn of “Charleston’s last great waterfront estate” and count me in.
3. Kiawah Island Golf Resort
   • For those seeking the epitome of luxury with accommodations and activities included, look no further than Kiawah Island. With a “design your own day” mentality, the staff at Kiawah are ready to create your dream wedding with several different options for both ceremony and reception locations. My personal favorite? A waterfront ceremony on the grand lawn before guests make their way to a massive sailcloth tent for the reception. 
4. Legare-Waring House
   • Nestled amid an avenue of oak trees, lagoons and plenty of Spanish moss, Legare-Waring House is known for its Avenue of Oaks which makes the perfect backdrop of a beautiful ceremony or a “winding table in the woods” reception. Legare-Waring House also allows tenting on site, so if a tented wedding is your jam, but you still want the look and feel of a low country wedding, Legare-Waring House might be perfect for you.
5. Private Tented Wedding
   • Last but certainly not least, you can always opt for a private estate tented event which just so happens to be Sweet Oak Event’s specialty and favorite type of wedding to plan.
