Location
Katherine grew up on the Pamlico River, so when it came time to get married, her childhood home was the perfect backdrop. We pitched a sailcloth tent right on the water layering in blues, greens and coastal stripes that felt breezy and intentional.
Our favorite details were the cross her dad made by hand, the rattan lanterns peeking through the greenery overhead, the custom wallpaper we had commissioned for the bars, and the temporary tattoo station at the reception. Katherine and Reed are the kind of couple who know how to party, so the dance floor never cleared. We've had the pleasure of designing tents in a lot of beautiful places, and this one is still at the top of the list.
