Introduction

The Sunday 7 is an ode to our favorite interior designer, Shea McGee of McGee & Co., and a fun way for us to connect with our audience in a personal and unique way. No. 1 – Welcome April

With the first full week of April comes many, many meetings in preparations for our busy spring wedding season. This is the busiest spring Sweet Oak Events has ever had, and we are gearing up for TONS of beautiful events with the best couples. Stay tuned to see all of the pretty.

No. 2 – A Fresh Garden Update

If you know me at all, you know that I can’t keep anything alive. My poor houseplants usually last a couple of months before dying off due to some tragic circumstance like neglect, over-watering or lack of fertilizer. Whatever the case may be, I am determined to grow a garden this year. My tomato plants are growing SO fast, but my herb seedlings seem to be taking their sweet time. Who knew gardening required so. much. patience. Any green thumbs out there? I could use some encouragement!

No. 3 – A New Computer

After working from my in-home office desk on my tiny little MacBook Pro from 2017, the time has come to invest in a desktop computer. I am eyeing the new iMac (in pink of course), but have any of you had any experience with it? Will it change my life?

No. 4 – Weekly Favorites

Did anyone else watch every “Weekly Favorites” video from their favorite YouTubers back in the good ole days? Here’s a few of mine:

No. 5 – My Go-To Coffee Order

I am a fairly new coffee drinker, but I definitely think I have found the *perfect* coffee from Starbucks. Here’s what I always get: Grande Iced White Mocha with Sweet Cream Cold Foam & Cookie Crumbles

No. 6 – 2022 Design Trends

Wedding design is my favorite part of the planning process, and the trends this year are *chefs kiss*. Couples are focusing on guest experience, macro weddings and infusing color into their palettes in fun and unique ways. Details are on everyone’s minds, so we are having loads of fun with stationery, rentals and floral design. Check out this beautiful inspiration we have our desk:
